Hello my friends! This week has been crazy busy but so full of the love of God. Even though this week has been one thing after the other, I wouldn't trade my experience even if this was all my mission was. My testimony has already grown and my Spanish language abilities have increased too. During this week of Home MTC I have learned so much about myself and the gospel. I have filled half of my notebook with notes, ideas, or lesson prep. I know that I was meant to serve a mission and that I was reserved for this time. Even though I didn't have a mission in my life plans last year, I know that God has been preparing me for my mission throughout my entire life. Each experience I have had and each trial I have overcome will help me while I am on my mission. It will help me stay strong, as well as help those who I will be teaching.           A bunch of you might not know me, My name is Jessica Kendrick- This is my home ward- but I went to college this last year at the USU Eastern Campus in Price, Utah- so you most likely haven’t seen me around unless it was a weekend where I was home. You will probably know at least one of my parents though- and to give myself a better view in your head I’ll introduce you to them too. My Dad is a retired Battalion Chief Paramedic. Now you can find him either working on his fence, attending to his children.. Oops I mean cows, or doing concrete or construction work for people. My mother is a second grade teacher at Canyon elementary. I am convinced that she can make any child love her and become her best friend. Her students are lucky to call her their teacher.
