This week there was a couple of things that I thought about in my studies that I want to share!  First, wind! Kinda interesting, I know, but I was thinking about the symbolism behind it. I focused on 2 scriptires: Mark 4:39-40 and Mark 6:48-51. Let me know if you can follow my thought process: So, Jesus Christ had the power to rebuke the wind and stormy seas, and then he asked his disciples "why are ye so fearful?" I loved in Mark 6 when it talked about how they were "toiling in rowing." We often are toiling in this life, struggling just to stay in the same place. One thing that I studied this week was how to be one. And the picture perfect example of being one is the city of Enoch, "And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them" (Moses 7:18). Galatians 3:27-28 says "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." From this scripture I learned that to be one is another way of saying to be a family, to want what is best for others and strive to help them as you would your own family. When that clicked in my head, I thought about how cool ministering is then, because it is through ministering to tho...
