This week there was a couple of things that I thought about in my studies that I want to share!
First, wind! Kinda interesting, I know, but I was thinking about the symbolism behind it. I focused on 2 scriptires: Mark 4:39-40 and Mark 6:48-51. Let me know if you can follow my thought process:
So, Jesus Christ had the power to rebuke the wind and stormy seas, and then he asked his disciples "why are ye so fearful?" I loved in Mark 6 when it talked about how they were "toiling in rowing." We often are toiling in this life, struggling just to stay in the same place. But as we turn to Christ and accept his embrace with faith, we are able to endure the storms of our life or calm them. Sometimes Christ doesn't come till the 4th watch, when it seems almost impossible to overcome our trials, but he will come and help us.
I felt that sometime the wind in our lives is often temptation or sickness, or something that the devil has put in our path.

This week was pretty fun, we went Caroling with some other sisters, and slept over at their house. It was fun, it's crazy to see people reactions when we just ask if we can sing for them...
We had interviews with our mission president. We talked about how dating is scary, but it is the most selfish decision I should ever make. I learned how to make another kind of pupusas, super fun...and got to say some goodbyes...
It was hermana kunzlers birthday... so we got to celebrate and I made some German pancakes!!
We have been practicing for a little Christmas performance, they asked us to sing in the choir... even though I won't actually be there. They are kidna sad I won't be there because I sing the loudest haha.
And well... it's time that I come home I guess, I've really loved serving in Dallas Texas, and I hope you all have been learning along with me! See you soon!! My homecoming will be December 17th at 9am! Let me know if you want the address!

My question of the week is: How can you abide in the Love of God?
