Everlasting

This week I was studying more about the priesthood, and I came across the name "everlasting priesthood." I just really liked it. I thought about how perfect that name was in 2 ways.
1) When a man receives the priesthood, he will always have it. He will have it for eternities. As long as he is worthy, he will be able to exercise that priesthood.
2) Everything that is everlasting is made everlasting through the priesthood. Baptism, Confirmation, Initiatory, Endowment, Sealing... Everything. Families are made eternal through the Priesthood.
While I was thinking about this, Hermana Foley was reading in 3 Nephi 13:19-21. Where it talks about how we should put our treasures in heaven where neither moths nor rust can corrupt. The only way we can reach that to put our treasure there is through the Holy, everlasting priesthood.
Wahoo... teamwork! Anyway, I'm just really grateful for the priesthood in my life, and for my loving Dad, Uncles, Grandpas, and Priesthood leaders who have helped me access its power.

I'm also really grateful for the situation that I was raised in, with a loving family. We made a new friend, a really sweet woman, who recently moved to the United States. She told us all about her life, and the challenges that she went though and that her family has went through, and how she got here. And if stories like hers don't open my eyes to see how lucky I am, nothing can. I cannot even compare my trials to hers, mine seem unexistant.

We were kinda low on miles this week... so we got to bike in 104° heat! Honestly it was fun, I had a nice river streaming down my back but it was nice. I almost killed my companion though... we had to take a break haha. I love you Hermana Foley! A little insight into our companionship: we both LOVE to read, so one of our pastimes when we are walking somewhere is to tell the story of one of our favorite books... well we have been companions for about 3 months now... and we are running out of stories to tell. (Haha that kinda makes us sound like children) Because of that we started to retell the story of the Book of Mormon!! Kinda actually really fun!

My question of the week is: How can you better access the priesthood in your life?
