Hello Dumpling :)

I studied about a bunch of different things, one of them being the importance of goals and plans. I studied in Matthew 25, the parable of the talents. A few things stood out to me, that I never really focused on.
1- In verse 15 it says "according to his several ability." We are each considered individually to receive what we receive. He doesn't put us into groups and generally decide what would be best for us, he knows us each perfectly, and has the perfect plan for us. He knows what we can handle, and what our talents are. It's just like what we read about in Come Follow Me, each member of the church is a member of the body of Christ; We all have a purpose.

2- He gives more to those that are willing. If we aren't willing to work hard and put in a little extra effort to grow and help others, he won't give us more. It's necessary to make and work on goals so that we can grow. If you feel like you should have more responsibility, be more responsible and proactive about those little things.

3- This one is a little off topic, but also no... but we can't control everything. We can put in a lot of effort, but it's God that helps us grow. "God gives the increase." Don't stress about what you can't fix or change. When it's your time and you are putting in the effort and weeding away the bad habits, God will help you bloom!! (1 cor. 3:6-7)

But this week I actually remember what happened... shocker!
- We had a kinda hard lesson with one of our amazing friends... it was a good lesson, the spirit was there. But we got to the point where we know she knows But doesn't realize it... it was sad.
-We were in a latino market for studies and we had a lesson, so we did a videocall lesson in the soda aisle, it was fun.
-I tried dumplings! They were pretty good, and I think I would eat them again! They were authentic from a cute neighborhood dumpling store!! If you haven't tried dumplings... do it!
-We went to a high school football game with some members to try missionary work in a different way! Super weird to be there as a missionary, but it was fun! I feel like I got to know those members a lot better!!
- I tried pig intestine tacos... not a fan, really chewy... and after did a lemon ginger shot with a really healthy member! My body did fine with the ginger shot although it burned a bit... but my poor companion started throwing up and the rest of the night we were home since she was either throwing up or sleeping... that's a rough 2 weeks for her haha.

Also I'm still finding time for baking here and there yay!! I got to make cookies while my poor companion was sleeping haha.

My question of the week is: when is it okay to be angry? (Consider Matt. 5:22 and 3 Nephi 11:30)
